CARGO
AIR CHARTER
Chartering
freighter aircraft is an indispensable asset of local
and worldwide trade. In our experience the reasons for
chartering are usually related to one of six categories
listed below. However, whatever the inderlying reason,
all charter transactions demand a totally professional
approach if they are the fulfill the expectations of shippers
and consignees.
At
INTERISLAND
Airlines
we have access to a large variety of cargo planes starting
with the Britten Norman Islander all the way through to
the enormous Boeing 747. We constantly update our aircraft
data and its performance. This enables us to source the
right aircraft for the job.
1.
URGENT SHIPMENTS When parts are required
urgently to maintain production in a province base factory,
large tanker or container ship at sea or get an aircraft
back in to the air - often the only answer is to charter
an aircraft. The money saved will usually more than offset
the cost of the aircraft charter.
2.
HEAVY LOADS
When you have 50 tons or more to move quickly and all the
schedule airlines are fully booked and surface transport
would take too long. Chartering a freighter and moving the
whole consignment will eliminate the need for piecemeal
shipments by several airlines flying different routers and
all the attention problems of delays and losses.

3.
OUTSIZE CARGO
When the shipment is outsize, that is to say too big, too
heavy and probably indivisible and can't be accommodated by
schedule airlines. In this event a freighter will be the only
acceptable option, particularly if the final destination is
off the normal main line routes.
4.
CIVIL WARS OR RESTICTED ACCESS
When a local war, civil unrest, banditry, strikes or natural
disasters prevent conventional overland routes is being used.
On these occasions chartered freighters come in to their own.
They fly in to domestic airports or rough landing strips and
do so routinely and safety.
5.
HIGH VALUE GOODS
When the goods being transported are too fragile for conventional
transport. Shipments taken through ports can be roughly handled;
roads to hinterland destinations can be inedequate, goods
maybe subjected to rigorous searches at intermediary customs
posts - Temperature or humidity can be damaging. Meanwhile
a chartered freighter can over fly all these problems and
effect delivery quickly and safely.
6.
JUST IN TIME MANUFACTURING
When manufacturing problem cause produtions delays and penalty
agreements for late completion start to apply, frequently
the only way the situation can be resolved is chartering a
freighter. In this way the shipper can save time by packing
lighter. |
